From the description I understand that Media Center has stopped working.
To assist you better I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:
1)Have you made any changes to the hardware or software on the computer prior to the issue?
2)What is the make and model number of the computer?
Follow the steps and check,
Method 1: I would suggest you to install the latest Win TV HVR-2250 drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check.
Support: WinTV-HVR-2250
Method 2: I suggest you to update the latest graphic card drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check.
If Windows 8 drivers are not available, then you may install Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode and check.
Note: Download the latest drivers from the Manufacturer’s website and save it on to the Desktop.
Click on the link and follow the steps:
“Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows”
Also I suggest you to install latest Windows updates.
